  I think I need to see it again, but I'm not sure if I really want to.

  The movie really opens up the further along it goes, which is obviously the intention. As a result, the first few scenes were like pulling teeth, and I felt myself really resisting. After understanding better what was going on, I have a feeling that those early sections have a lot of nuggets that I would find interesting, including the more cartoonish elements of…

  Really astounding. You recognize instantly that you’re in good hands, and give yourself up to the movie. The duel moving scene is wonderful. 

  It almost seems a bit buttoned up compared to other of his movies, but that speaks to a creator in full control of every aspect of the process . The set and costume design are amazing. Every other shot is inspired.

   In a different movie, I would be happy with a handful of memorable shots. This whole movie could be framed and live on my walls. I should be so lucky.
