  The relationship between human and machine is depicted very interestingly in this movie. The way Gepetto is controlling Pinocchio by strings as his puppet, his creation, at the beginning to make him dance is perfectly mirrored at the very end when he becomes a real boy.   The movie was definitely captivating and interesting as a whole, but was a little more confusing than necessary. I get that a lot of things were left up to interpretation, but a few extra clarifying scenes would’ve been helpful. Maybe I just need to rewatch to understand some things I missed but it felt like scenes were missing or something.

  This was a good movie and good acting but I hated the ending and it’s overrated. Why did the father just give up on the son in the end? The whole time he wanted to help his kid and save him but when the son finally asks for help he refuses and says he’s on his own? What? How does that make sense
