Oppenheimer 2023
One of the few movies that left me speechless and it’s no surprise that it’s a Nolan movie. Many of the artistic and cinematic choices made by Nolan in Oppenheimer could have made or broke this film. Oppenheimer has never felt so human and familiar to me after watching this movie. What a troubled mind to get dealt in life. Cillian Murphys performance was striking, emotional, and will undoubtedly secure a seat for the Oscars as well as a seat in Hollywood history. Similar to Moonlight, Oppenheimer made me feel human.

Unbelievably boring and predictable, some scenes are so much longer than necessary and dialogue is dense. If you don’t know baseball it’s super tiring to watch.
The trope is something we’ve seen hundreds of times except this movie doesn’t do anything special to make itself stand out.
