Pretty solid movie for anyone with an interest in GWAR, or the general punk-happening or artsy scenes of the time. If you’re a die-hard GWAR fan, don’t get your hopes up too high about seeing all of the obscure, weird, or one-off guys that have the true nitty gritty details about the band, they ain’t here.

By far one of the best GWAR movies for any bohab out there, but the editing is just a little too sloppy in comparison to their earlier flicks. It has the unfortunate issue of defining one of the worst eras of GWAR, but still, any movie that features a talking toilet, followed by a 5 minute standoff battle with the corpse of Elvis Presley is sure to entertain at least somewhat.

The only “superhero” movie that I have ever cared to watch without feeling the need to doom-scroll through Instagram reels. 4.5 stars, deducted half a point because I will never experience the sheer joy of watching this movie for the first time again.

I have yet too watch a film more deeply committed to the bit than Skulhedface. Think Troma meets Lordi in a musical blood bath about intergalactic aliens feeding their giant pet maggot in an attempt at escaping the wretched planet they’ve been long banished to.
Deeply upset that the general public never held this movie to the same standard as Phallus in Wonderland— it is truly the best film that could’ve possible been made on a $100,000 budget.
If you like weird, you’ll like this movie.
