usually self-aware movies about filmmaking kind of piss me off because they can be lazy with the topic, but this does not piss me off! it's actually quite nice. good use of the theme of objectivity in artistic education, if a little on-the-nose.
the field shot was phenomenal, the best shot in this. ambiguous and long enough to read into like crazy. the shots with people were always very personal, the audio very dry, like i'm in the same room as them, which is really cool. really interesting visually and thematically for a short film
