  saw bing, keire, and diane at the 2018 sdaff spring showcase! i absolutely loved the intro, it felt so freeing to be in the middle of all of his friends skating through the town and having a blast :-)
  bing talked about how he explored a bunch of different techniques in unraveling the story and this final take was so fitting. voiceovers and one sided interviews in most docus feel impersonal and dull, so bringing in some good gems like…

  i think this is my fave hong sang soo film so far. dialogue dependent, seamless transitions, and random but quite calming scenery- some of the usual HSS (and a little reminiscent of linklater, but without the urge to watch something mindless afterwards to calm your brain down lmao).
