  Gorgeous but bogged down by frustrating gender politics - I can almost forgive Bill losing his shit over his wife thinking about having sex with someone else when considering Cruise’s comical facial expressions.

  This whole thing hinges on knowing about Queen and being a fan already so you spend the whole first act being incredibly confused and dragged through the worst pacing imaginable. I’ve never seen a film where I’ve cared less about the characters who are supposed to be important.

  Freddie being dragged into the seedy homosexual underground of leather daddies while “Another One Bites The Dust” plays is fucking parody.

  All the effort they put into flawlessly recreating concerts is wasted on an audience that mostly won’t appreciate it and could have been directed elsewhere like WRITING A BETTER FILM.
