I had hope and expectations for Bong John Ho's latest film, the trailers looked quite nice, the premise was intriguing and the setup appeared to be very engaging but honestly the end result did not click to me.

I felt that a lot was heavily caricaturized, mainly Ruffalo and Collette's characters which sometimes did not work well, and then the plot the movie focuses on in the end is not the one a premise like this one deserved which is unfortunate since the engaging performance of Pattinson and the quirky cloning premise had quite the potential.

As an engineer this is just like an epic sprint planning / refinement session. An intense, engaging and emotional voting session that results in an overall great movie. The performances are so good and captivating that allow the viewer to feel completely immersed by this world of power and secrets.

I might be biased from all the energy in the session since this was clearly one of the best nights I had at MOTELX, but the film was a surprise. It is the best Portuguese horror film I have seen so far and also one of the most accessible ones. It is…
