  Goodness me, does Clint have got some serious aura about him. The bloke oozes it. You look forward to each word he says in this film; what I’d give for him to look me in the eye and say he’s proud of me. This isn’t a thinker, but Clint makes it very enjoyable. 4 stars all the way.

  I’m not so sure that those who market films are all that. This is definitely not a comedy, nor, in fact, a dramedy. It is, in the world of simpler genres, quite a sad film. There are funny lines and excellent moving cinematography throughout: the quiet, light-driven shots of Polish towns are excellent and both central characters are well developed against the backdrop of Holocaust horror.
