  Lol for the first 30 mins I thought maybe there was something to salvage but then there was nothing. Also Ken felt like more of a main character than Barbie, Ryan Gosling was enjoyable. The car scene being a chevelot commercial was insane

  This is likely to be the most technically impressive and lush film Studio Ghibli has ever ever put out, yet despite the spectacle, I found the film to be its most disappointing, flat, and confusing entry. I suppose the west is starved for good cinema and even more starved decent animation. I do not understand the universal praise for what is the weakest entry by Studio Ghibli and Miyazaki.
