Some movies are dated, signs of the time or the popular topic of the world. This story is not that.
This movie is just... timeless. Anxiety, passion, grief, pressure, the overarching theme of not feeling good enough but fucking trying ANYWAY because you just know you can do it. It's something you love, and it's something you hate and can't give up at the same time.

I actually don't care for Nick Cage at all, never been a fan, never found him funny or amusing, never liked the meme campaigns of him with a flower crown on mugs and pillows. I did expect to be a little disappointed by this movie. I was pleasantly surprised by how much of a presence Hoult has, and continues to have in his projects.
To me this movie was dumb and a bit silly, campy all around but purposely so…
made me anxious to watch because some women can't get out. I'm glad it was a movie where she could get out, with help, revenge etc. Feeling very angry about the comments calling this boring. Not much else to say as this movie does hit a little hard.
