Threads 1984
Threads is an absolutely amazing movie that deserves far more attention. It gets so much right, creating a dark yet realistic portrayal of nuclear holocaust. I've never seen anything quite like it—truly a fantastic work. Despite its staggeringly low budget, it achieves incredible highs. It does fall short in a few areas, which keeps it from being higher than a four-star film for me personally. Still, Threads is a film worth everyone's time and deserves to be watched at least once, even if it’s not the best movie you’ll ever see.
