Absolutely breathtaking... I was lucky enough to see this in theaters today, and I am still amazed, after my third rewatch, at how unbelievably complex and profound this masterpiece really is.

Not only do I wholeheartedly believe this is Hayao Miyazaki’s and Studio Ghibli’s magnum opus, but it quite possibly could be one of the best and most perfect movies ever to bless our televisions and theaters.

It is so dense in mythology and history, so nihilistic and dark yet still so beautiful and thematically sophisticated, and it is downright unforgettable and I will never shut up about it until the day I die.

I feel so stupid putting off my rewatch of this film for so long. It’s beautiful, haunting, weird, and undoubtedly a masterpiece.

This movie (as is the case with all Stanley Kubrick films) purposely leaves so much up to interpretation. He is a master of suggestive storytelling and we see that in full effect in The Shining. Kubrick films risk the fact that many watchers may be left confused but in doing so, forces the watcher to “shine” by piecing…

Enter the Dragon is undoubtedly the most iconic, influential, and possibly the best martial arts movie ever made.

This is a must-watch for anyone who loves martial arts, featuring great use of color, a terrific score, espionage, a claw handed villain straight out of a Bond movie, Bruce Lee’s unparalleled martial arts prowess, and probably the greatest hall of mirrors scene ever made.

I’m going to be completely honest… I did not enjoy this at all

I really REALLY wanted to enjoy this movie. I’ve been hearing quotes and praise for this movie since the day I was born, and yet, I found myself sitting through the entire film with a completely neutral expression and questioning what I could’ve possibly done to deserve such torture.

Clearly, I wasn’t the target audience for this movie, and maybe comedies just aren’t my thing. Nevertheless, if this is what people call "comedy," I’m probably better off steering clear of any comedies in the future.
