I watched my good friend and longtime collaborator, Guko McSpeng Villaruel fall asleep for the majority of this film, wake up right before they arrest John Doe, leave the room at the start of the box scene, and finally re-enter the room immediately after the conclusion of said box scene.
Probably the worst attempt at watching Se7en anyone has ever produced which is a shame because it’s a fucking corker

Hard to talk too much about this film without sounding like a pretentious wanker or saying things that have already been said 100 times before (normally both simultaneously), but how the bloody hell did Kubrick make this shit in the bloodclart 60s, will never understand this.
One of the most beautifully shot films ever, probably Kubrick’s best and probably the best sci-fi film OAT.
Might have to whack it in the top 4
