Even as someone who generally likes/defends Snyder's work, this one fell very flat, its very mid.
I enjoy his vision as usual, but there's definitely a downgrade in the visuals/cinematography compared to when he was working with Larry Fong or Fabian Wagner.
The action scenes and lore/world are cool, but unfortunately there's a lot missing with regard to character development (especially for the supporting cast) due to the writing, which undermines the entire movie.
Junkie XL's score goes hard as usual though.
