I haven't seen this since it came out on DVD and and finally got to see this in a cinema in Berlin 20 years later. A lot of the home scenes were filmed just 10 mins from where I grew up. I remember the excitement around Callan when this was being filmed and going in to see the town made to look like the 70's.
I get my bus to Dublin outside the church, and bought my school uniforms in the store they buy a coat in towards the end of the film.
Such a fun film, stacked cast too
