Adrien Brody’s performance does live up to the hype. The film is extremely heavy and impactful and really leaves the audience with the same desperation the protagonist feels throughout. Nazi dude kind of came in clutch. 85/100

Holy shit.
It’s rare that movies are truly able to affect a person’s perspective but I think apocalypse now truly achieves this.
Colonel Kurtz is one of the best characters I’ve ever seen. He isn’t in the movie for long and is built up as this god like villain.
