John Lithgow is great playing a psycho terrorizing residents in an elderly care facility. I don’t recall seeing a movie where the bully is in this age bracket.
The staff suck at their job and need to be fired.
Great cast and it got a few laughs out of me, but I didn’t find most of the movie to be engaging. With the unicorn kills and some eccentric characters, there is fun in this. Unfortunately, I left underwhelmed.
Merry bloody Christmas from Art the Clown. I enjoyed this on my first watch; but watching it again in a small theatre with fans of this franchise enhanced the experience.
All the hype and greatness I heard about this film was not hyperbole. Words like “epic” and “masterpiece” were thrown around and they are justified.
Visually spectacular (love how Giedi Prime was shot), booming sound during the sand worm and action sequences, wonderful score and great performances from a super-talented cast.
I had no issues with the changes from the book because of how good the storytelling was. It takes it’s time and everything felt important.
This was my first movie theatre experience of 2024 (this is what IMAX is meant for) and it was perfect.
