Although it shares many elements with the original Scream, it doesn’t have the memorable characters that Scream gave to the world.

But, the killings are memorable, it doesn’t waste the 18 certificate, and whole thing is loads of fun.

I guess it’s only a matter of time till we get Thanksgiving: A Second Helping and Thanksgiving: A Third Course.

Demons, eyeballs, possession, a witch, a magical book, a remote house, a dead arm, Dutch angles, doppelgängers, and Bruce Campbell.

Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead IV: In the Multiverse of Madness has everything you could want from a Sam Raimi film and so much more.

    ★★★½

    Speed: Ambulance.

It should have been the reboot of the Speed franchise with Bay at the helm. The dizzying camerawork in Speed: Ambulance contains some of the longest shots that Bay has delivered in years (some lasting several seconds) and actually delivers some impressive sweeping drone(?) shots that left me with one eye on the photography.

Speed: Ambulance is a fine popcorn flick that whizzes along at a breakneck speed, moving so fast you don’t have a chance to realise the characters are paper thin and in hindsight it was all very predictable. Not as good as Speed, but different league to Speed 2: Cruise Control.
