Novocaine 2025
Jack Quaid is my favorite nepo baby.
I like how much time the movie spends setting up the love connection between Nathan and Sherry. Quaid and Midthunder bring charm and charisma to their roles.
Once the love story is set up, the action takes over. The action is fun, brutal and bloody. It got my adrenaline pumping right along with Nathen Caine.
The only negative in the movie is Ray Nicholson. He is doing too much acting as the film's main villain. He needs to calm it down.Translated from by -
Night Moves 1975
There are two stories at work in Night Moves. The detective story and they story of a man contemplating his future as he feel he has to choose between his occupation and his marriage. The movie doesn't do a good of telling both stories simultaneously. As a result, the back half of the movie is loaded with the detective story and the most exciting stuff. I found it hard to piece the whole story together because of this.
I did enjoy seeing Gene Hackman go to work in a neo-noir. I miss him.Translated from by

F Marry Kill 2024
This is a fun movie. It is good to watch with a date or a group of friends. The humor didn’t land with me in the beginning but I eventually settled in and had a good time. I think the cast of characters surrounding our lead are interesting and funny. Virginia Gardner is my favorite part. There are no small parts.
