This movie was really good overall. The acting is so good obviously, I LOVE Pedro Pascal and Paul Mescal so both of them in one movie is amazing. I was kind of confused about the characters relationship, I never saw the first Gladiator so I feel like if I watched it I would have been less confused. I was a bit lost with Paul’s character’s switch it felt like a switch out of nowhere rather than an arc. Still pretty good movie and I’m sure the context of the first 1 would have helped which is on me not the movie.

This movie felt like a student short film that somehow was turned into a full movie. The movie basically just tells the audience the two main characters are like a nerd and the it and have talked online or something before. This is never showed so it really doesn’t help as I feel like I didn’t know the main characters before New Years Eve. The rest of the movie seemed okay if the beginning was set up better. The two plot twist were a little silly at the end which I felt were a little out of place.

Yayy first review!!! The iconic “I’m just a girl” line was so good. At first I did not like Anna at the beginning with her first plot twist, but by the end I loved her. And I love William, he is the perfect romcom male lead. Such a great girls movie.
One thing I did not like was the soundtrack I just felt that the music did not always go along with the scene, it took me out of the scene thinking “why is this song playing” rather than enhancing the mood of the scene.
