  A bit self serious, still trying to embrace the silliness that comes later in the franchise.

  Gotta respect the commitment to the 90 minute run time. Is there an order to death? Sure let's not question that and move on. Alex is missing? No stress he'll be the first place we look. Keep things snappy. I love it.

  Incredibly surface level look at what could be a really interesting issue to unpack.
  Majority of the run time is just a PowerPoint presentation of the covers of books that have been banned.

  I watched this movie with my three year old daughter.

  At one point, about a third of the way through, The King of Thievs throws a torch down a well for dramatic effect. For some reason, the fate of this torch became very important to my daughter. "Where is the torch now?" she would ask. Any time The King of Thieves would turn up, she would ask "Is he going to go get the torch back now?". Any time another…
