    robert pattinson is so good.

now that we got that out the way. this movie is kinda poorly written? i like the premise of the plot (and the various ethical dilemmas surrounding it), but i think the execution isn’t that well done. there’s a lot of plot lines which i think are either very overdone or very underdone (kai, lowkey the whole ruffalo plot). because of that, a lot of the last 45 minutes - 1 hour of the movie is pretty slow and not that “eyes glued to the screen” interesting.

    What a movie.
    What an experience.
    Damn.

    Dennis Villeneuve🧎🏽‍♂️

Felt like I was on a physical rollercoaster through Arrakis as Zimmer’s score carried me through the ups and downs of the packed plot. The constant deep horns and cello by itself that underlay the overall score make this a must watch in IMAX. Acting was stellar throughout. Austin Butler, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista 👏🏽

Timothée Chalamet deserves the highest praise though.…

Scorsese proves time and time again why he’s considered one of the greatest directors of all time. Accompanied yet again by two more actors cemented some of the best actors of all time in Leo and De Niro. Although the storytelling did seem a little slow in the first half for me (and so I struggled to really get into the movie for a while), this film masterfully illustrates some of the horrors that Native Americans, and the Osage in particular, faced. Outstanding cinematography, set building, and phenomenal acting from all of the main cast. A second watch will surely raise the rating for me.
