Return of the Jedi 1983
Takes a while to get going but the entirety of the second half is fantastic. Just wish it had kept up the darker murkiness of Empire a bit more!
That ending scene is just...perfect. Without question. All our friends just hugging and dancing and smiling. Perfect.

Underdeveloped, overwrought, poorly written, and ultimately, highly disappointing.
The film should've picked a specific issue to focus on, but because it discusses so many various topics, it ends up discussing nothing.
Much of the acting choices are odd and bad, but overall Pattinson does a great job...I guess.

- the cinematography is decent. I wish they took more advantage of the possible scope involved with 70mm filmmaking. Instead, most of the movie, save for a few brilliant skits, are rather conventional and boring.
- the acting is undoubtedly great. Pearce and Brody both deliver powerhouse performances that immerse us into their characters.
