Neo-Tokyo is about to E.X.P.L.O.D.E.
Every film I've seen since October 2012.
14th movie of spooky month 2024. I mean it’s Dracula and he’s being a bit cheeky too! You can't go wrong with Peter Cushing vs Christopher Lee in a Hammer Horror flick. The only downside is the very little screen time Dracula actually has. It’s also crazy to think this is a 1950s film, it looks waaaay ahead of its time.
The streaming service I watched this on had a disclaimer at the beginning saying that the film had “discriminatory” content. Boy was that an understatement, it just got worse and worse. Launch this film into the sun and let it be forgotten.
Not nearly as charming or good as its source, but still goes to show how strong the concept is. For anyone interested I’d recommend seeing the original called “One Cut of the Dead”. However: don’t watch a trailer, read a review or even the description. Just watch all the way to the very end. POM!
