  Crazy that in the 1990s this is framed as a pathetic way to live and from the vantage point of 2025 I think this would be a pretty alright existence! Own apartment despite unemployment and being part of a hobby-based community! But then probably the film also highlights some of the seeds of today's problems. Not for nothing does Saddam Hussein show up in the Dude's dreams and does Bush Sr show up on TV explaining America's duty to Kuwait.…
