Bleak and slow, the whole movie plays out like a funeral dirge insistently marching to a bitter conclusion and I loooooved it big slay!!!

The performances were so goddamn good I became completely engrossed in the world. The dialogue was smart and short without trying to be quippy- it did a fantastic job of communicating emotion the way old Irish guys do- with long silences and glares.

This movie was so visually and emotionally breathtaking that I kept forgetting I was watching the cat shoes movie. I will be rewatching this and am so excited about the low frame rate action scene/ handpainted model style that projects like Spiderverse and Arcane have now clearly normalized for bigger budget productions.
