Idk how you make a movie about a CIVIL WAR this apolitical? If it didn’t take place in NYC, Pennsylvania, and DC, you wouldn’t even know this movie is about an American civil war lol.
I’d love a movie about the experience of a war photographer - but “what is the experience of a few photojournalists during an American civil war” is so much less interesting than “how/why did an American civil war happen.”
Idk shit pissed me off.
