kinda just had to see what the internet dudes were collectively creaming themselves over this time, genuinely never heard of this dude before, kinda unhappy that I felt the need to change that fact.
i guess im still just kinda fascinated by the idea of quarantine art, although it still seems like the seeming potential of it is never going to pan out. and with this being touted as this quarantine masterpiece I just kinda had to see it. Sad…
I really don't even know where to begin with this. I was kinda into the aesthetic of this, although the handheld camera shots for 90 percent of it got pretty old, and I quite liked the original music, but once again 90 percent of the music in this wasn't "lily chou-chou" but debussy. just why? nothing against debussy, but you hear debussy in hundreds if not thousands of films. you only hear the music of "lily chou-chou" in this one.…
