  This had such a strong start but it completely fell apart by the 3rd half of the movie. A lot of the changes made sense but other changes made little sense.

  I mostly watched this for the scholars and fans of Austen. This guy was so insufferable, inappropriately flirty, and dismissive of a woman and author who was much more clever than him. I'm glad he realized his stupidity in the end, but this was full of second-hand embarrassment through and through.
