Spider-Man: Homecoming 2017
This really is so much fun. Totally forgot that Ricken and Dylan G are in this - and when Ricken (Michael Chernus) showed up on screen in his hipster beanie I leaned to my wife and said “That’s Brady Corbet the guy that directed The Brutalist” because apparently Corbet stole his whole style for his Brutalist press run from Chernus in this 😂

I never want to watch another “lawyer breaks down court room scenes in tv and movies” YouTube video again if it’ll allow me to enjoy movies like this more. Sure this gets silly in places to keep the plot moving, and I’m sure there’s a multitude of law practice inaccuracies that come unraveling the first thread you pull at. But in a time where we’re all clamoring for original films and shorter run times, we must celebrate movies like this. And all caveats aside I simply enjoyed the hell out of this!!
