  This film surprised me. Thought is was gonna be a Jason Bourne off shoot, dad helps daughter get out of prison sentence in a foreign land. No, much deeper. The arc of a dad trying to make amends for his past bad behaviors to try and help his daughter, and ending up back in the end in Stillwater, OK, where he can not break his past, and in same situation. Paradise found, then lost.

  You want a movie that is Jason Bourne and Rambo combined. You got it. Great action and not predictable twists. My only criticism was hoping Doc Brown would fire up the Dorlean and go midevil in the future on the Russian oligarchs.

  Interesting take on the arc of anti hero, to making good, to going back to previous life. Was intense from beginning, had to pause and it was 30 minutes in and another hour plus remaining, and I thought, holy crap what can be done to top that. Yep, mind blown.
