Wow. Going into this movie blind was definitely the right move. If this movie is on your watchlist, check it out without a deep dive as I think its worth it. That prologue has to be one of the most unsettling openings to a movie I've seen. Conclave 2024
An interesting film to start the year off with. Had somewhat high expectations of this one due to the buzz it's been getting and I can't say it doesn't deserve most of it. Very well constructed film, from the cinematography to the pacing to the editing. The acting is all wonderful throughout as well, obvious standouts from Ralph Fiennes (absolutely one of my all time favorite actors at this point) and Stanley Tucci. Evocative and thoughtful.
