lot of thoughts on this movie, some positive some negative, but overall a really good movie experience
i think the more "serious" messaging of this movie kinda falls flat, its such a shallow depiction of what women are and it feels like they sandwiched three different societal issues together and it just feels so weird. that being said, the ending scene with ruth was beautiful and did make me cry.
i still think that almost every topic that this movie…

its no coming of age marvel, but i think bo really achieved what he accomplished to make and its way more of a real representation of growing up that tackles the uncomfortable topics (i’ve never been more uneasy than watching her in that car)
if i have a kid, and they get about this age, this would be the perfect movie to show them.
