    i might change my review after having a better understanding…but as of rn all i took from this film was;
    -two men confined on remote island slowing deteriorating.
    - symbolism for light house ???
    - & they were roommates…
    - LOBSTER
    - mermaids
    - alcoholism
    the find the imagery obscure…soooo now it’s time to watch hella video analysis & read people’s takes on reddit. YAYYY 🤭

    I actually didn’t have much of an interest in seeing this film but my sister wanted to see it theaters…idk this film kinda changed me.
    i’m genuinely surprised about how much i ENJOYED this. the musical numbers were
    concise and catchy without over saturating the plot itself. also peak wardrobe & set design.

    Cynthia’s performance was STELLAR, the final act emotionally moved me in a way that musicals don’t ever really do for me. when she sung “defying gravity” i SWEAR…

    Joker: Folie à Deux

    seeing this 2 weeks after the release i tried my best to avoid opinions & spoilers because i didn’t want to go into it with a perception of it based on others opinions until i saw it myself.
    i don’t think it’s HORRIBLE but it’s not good. It has its highs but more lows. JOKER did not need a sequel, the first movie was masterpiece, it was better left untouched.
    pros:
    -beautiful cinematography,i’m so glad that aspect wasn’t tainted, if anything…
