This was… interesting? Entertaining? Best parts were Pattinson’s and Ruffalo’s performances. Had some good moments but I wish they would have done more with the premise. I understand it’s based off a book, might have rather read the book.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 2004
I was familiar with the concept going into this movie but I was not expecting that cinematography, it was fascinating. It really felt like picking through scattered memories in your brain. I also can’t remember the last time I cried during a movie but this one got me for a bit. Deducting 1/2 star since I lost the through line of the movie a couple times (hopping between characters; the humourous memories were funny but felt non sequitur; was the Clementine in the memory somehow tied to the real Clem’s memory?). Overall a must-watch film!
