The start and first act dragged a bit for me although the performances were great. But once this movie starts really rolling and especially the iconic chase of the train this is incredible filmmaking.

House 1977
Incredibly trippy movie that I knew nothing about going in besides the iconic poster. The first half of this movie I was charmed but also more confused as this wasn't what I expected. But as soon as we get to the house I was fully locked in and loved the escalation of violence and imagery. Will become a staple I come back to for years to come I can tell.

Wasn't quite sure what to expect when my fiance told me we were watching this other then the fact that it was 4 and a half hours long. I was apprehensive of the length but this movie used that as a strength. Conversations were used to seeing abridged in other movies or even shows is allowed to fully exist and breathe. Musical performances of which there are plenty that we might cut away from allow us to inhabit the world…

I Saw the TV Glow 2024
Incredible film that took me a bit after to truly let it sink in and take hold of me. Incredible piece of art about queerness and also how Nostalgia can guide us through our lives as both a safe place to come back to but also something holding us back from evolving. A film I feel my opinion of will only grow with rewatches
