Mel works the budget constraints to give us a one-set action thrill with touching moments of redemption. In the face of ultimate evil (deriving joy from hurting others at no personal gain), Mel shows mercy. Mel is a big Michelle Obama fan! He won’t lower himself to the mistreatment he has received. Glad he’s back, I hope this warm-up galvanizes him to shock the system again with Passion 2.
