A very un-nuaced take here- I'm not super into drug movies and found myself getting annoyed with every relapse. I understand addiction in concept but this film didn't connect emotionally for me. Steve Carell delivered a beautiful performance. Drugs are bad. I wish I was watching almost famous instead.
