Ended up watching this after bailing on the original Man Who Knew Too Much. It’s amazing how far Hitchcock (or just filmmaking in general) got better in those four years.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I had a moment of spinning out on the plot watching this. The characters manage the sneaking around so stupidly. No actual spies would act this way. (Why do it at the party? Crossing Delancey 1988
The most realistic kind of rom com is is when someone has to shake off their idiocy before they can be happy. Usually it’s the guy. Nice to see a woman go through it. I appreciate this film’s light touch- her sweet story with the pickle man playing out against the distracting, dramatic clangs of the other guys.
