Intense, funny, and thrilling. Anya Taylor Joy and Ralph Fiennes were brilliant. The sets were beautiful. Didn’t think the connection to each guest was very well established, which took away from the motivation of the Chef. The pacing and how the story built was a bit clunky. Might watch it again

Absolutely insane. A perfect movie. Zero flaws. The scale, the spectacle, the performances, the art design, everything was so much grander than I’d anticipated. Cynthia and Ariana’s chemistry was so potent, all the nuances in their performances gave so much depth to their characters and to the story as a whole. Obviously the music was phenomenal, the choreography was so fun and exciting. Defying Gravity will never be topped. My favorite sequence was Elphaba’s solo dance at the Oz-dust, so much powerful story telling about her character with little-to-no dialogue. This is an instant all time classic.

Such a beautifully raw and real love story that’s passionate, exciting, messy, hard, and everything in between.

Stellar performances from Garfield and Pugh. The score was so moving and sweet and it was used perfectly with each emotional beat. Pretty typical A24 cinematography, very good. Sets and lighting were especially nice.

So much good to say about this movie! Excellent performances from the 3 leads, beautifully heart wrenching story about disappointment, bitterness, forgiveness, and acceptance. Loved the 1970’s aesthetic, felt totally immersed in the period. Dominic Sessa played Angus so excellently, you could really feel everything he was going through.
