  A bunch of assholes squabbling with some great old timey music. My second Ken Burns after Unforgivable Blackness, and without the presence of a Jack Johnson, not nearly as entertaining.

  Finally a disappointment! I was overdue. This is a visually stunning portrayal of life in the Himalayas and would have been more enjoyable as a documentary or as a tone poem. The story is dull and unconvincing, so much so even the 'authenticity' of these rural traditions seemed to suffer. A lot of walkouts. A lot of phones going off. I spent most of the time grappling with the urge to leave myself.…

  I intend to study law some day. Sometimes I'm not sure why.
  Relentless. First film in a long time I've watched without smiling once. No laughs here. I don't know what else to say. Great stuff.
