Watching this overwrought mess of a soap opera masquerading as a return to the Hollywood epic - bereft of elegance but drowning in artifice- where slaves battle CG baboons and sharks that could dance alongside Jar Jar Binks seamlessly, two distinct thoughts crashed into my shocked and disappointed brain.
