A film much less concerned with visceral kills and shocking gore than it is the feeling of loss and vengeance. I appreciate how our perspective is not primarily that of the interlopers from the city, but the country folk. We are endeared towards a man and his sweet son, and feel his loss when the child is ripped away. Senseless violence; an accident.
