Novocaine 2025
A fun absurd action comedy. The main twist was not a never-before-seen one but it was good. it's one of those movies that would fall apart if you think about it critically but it's taking itself silly enough that trying to think about it critically feels like a mistake.
between this and Companion, i would say Jack Quaid is starting to be one of those actors i'm watching out for.
The only thing is it might have take gross-out violence…

Mickey 17 2025
I liked this movie a lot but i wish i went a bit further with what it was saying.
I don't know, i feel like it could've critiqued capitalism harder.
Still. It made me laugh, it made me think it made me get on the edge of my seat a few times.
I think Pattinson did a pretty danggood job playing Mickey 17 and 18 differently. I never wondered which Mickey was talking.
All in all, it was not quite as good as i had hoped but it's still very good.
I'd say Parasite was better.

Wolf Man 2025
This is a movie that does what it set out to do reliably and with an acceptable level of quality. Sadly it doesn't really aim very high.
Throughout, I was just thinking "Yea... this is fine" instead of "Crap this is so scary/good" so i can't give it a very high grade.
Still, it did a couple things well, like the POV shots from the rapidly changing dad. Those were nice.
Sadly, the lack of any interesting scares or anything…

I hate biopics, i know nothing of Bob Dylan and only really liked Timothée Chalamet in Dune and yet i enjoyed this movie because it (to my knowledge) did not try to make Bob Dylan look likeable at all.
If nothing else, this movie made me think i could understand why some people hate Bob Dylan. I'm assuming the point of the movie was to showcase that Bob Dylan was a jerk and to that end, I think Chalamet did…
