  First things first, Mani Ratnam can't make a bad movie. Absolutely gorgeous shots all around. While the story is so confusing and complex that you have to be reaaaally locked in (I had to rewind a few times), it's layered like a cake, revealing another dimension every 15-20 minutes. Did I already say the shots are gorgeous? Also, all of the actresses here are to die for, sorry. I feel like there should've been a better focus on the love…
