  *sighs*
  Really back and forth on this one.

  One hand, super clever, other hand, doesn't know how to handle its subtext at all.

  One hand amazing fun cast of Barbie characters, other hand, real boring reality characters.

  One hand super meaningful and important themes needed to be put in film, other hand, seems like it doesn't want to commit to said themes with the lack of protagonist Barbie in this Barbie movie.

  Almost Famous 2000

  For one, if you're a hopeless romantic or any young adult with a lust for life don't watch this movie, it'll give you too much optimism.

  And secondly, I've had this movie foster my young adulthood and all that time loving it, I don't think I really got it.

  Maybe I still don't but I think the point of this movie is that music is home. Whatever you listen to and wherever you may be you put those notes on and you can go to another place that can only be described as home.
