Oh man oh man I loved this film
It reminded me of Ron Swanson (a comfort character for me) and I could not predict how much I resonated with the main character, so far that I felt a small twang of jealousy to see him able to have t h e r o o m .
I read reviews before watching, people’s complaints of how the narrations drag on etc and I did not find this to be the case…Translated from by -

Can’t stop thinking about this film. Saw in Odeon which was a wonderful experience.
This film is all about edging basically. Especially the last match scene where you’re waiting/expecting to see Patrick to place the ball in the centre of the racket & he DOESNT but still does 2 bad serves. The stylistic choices of camera angles eg below court, the soundtrack, goddamn I loved this film. Art going from wanting to retire regardless of the game result then seeing patricks…
