The Banshees of Inisherin 2022
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I was expecting a Macho Art Film and am glad to have found it so much more sensitive and subtle than such films usually are.
I enjoyed it and it deserves a rewatch. Beautifully filmed, lovely score, the Bulgarian women's choir opening song set the mood and made me question if it could actually be an Irish choir. It felt like it could be an accurate slice of life for the place and time.
