Tad overlong, tad undercooked, and thinks its leads have a tad more chemistry than they actually do.
The dialogue is a little stilted, the humor doesn't always work, and the performances aren't flawless. But it is still really fun. Glad it exists amidst a landscape littered with garbage movies and propaganda.

Mostly competent until it wasn't. Five billion cuts in every scene makes for very jarring watching, and we get a one-two punch of police brutality and homophobia to tie everything together. Boo.
It's better than the first one until it isn't. Ending really took me the fuck out. Still weirdly reads like conservative fanfiction and has the most obvious director self insert character of all time. Extra half point for Hard Times, which still fucking slaps
